Vision Board Testimonials

The Vision Journey Workshop could not have been better! From the very beginning, where we were arranged in a circle to do yoga, I felt held in a completely safe and nurturing environment. The variety of yoga exercises, with pauses to journal, worked out just right. It felt like there was something for everyone–ways for all of us to open to our deep inner core. The set up for the actual making of the vision board was impressive. So many supplies were offered, we had so much space to work, the music was soothing, and the snacks were plentiful. A real abundance. Overall this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Spending a whole day with the heartfelt warmth and higher vibrational level of a great group of women meant more to me the bringing the vision board home. ~M.O.

During the process of creating the board I became aware of many attitudes; fear in the process of creating; wanting approval outside of myself; and the struggle of having a preconceived idea of how it “should” look … the pretty and artistic things I’d gathered; but then the paring away; as they did not all fit.  This was an important part of the day … that in order to create the board I needed to simplify.  And simplicity was my first affirmation.  Also a new experience that it was going to be OK* (a positive inner voice) and that there was a flow which I just needed to allow to happen … almost like getting out of the way.  It seemed to have a life of its own; and as the person experiencing it, I became more full.  Rather than DOING the creating, I was more witnessing the beauty as it fell into place before me. ~M.S.

“It was such fun for all of us yesterday– you provided such a fertile and welcoming space and such inspiring materials– we had a blast. We had a great circle each talking about her board and what it meant to us and for us– and it was such a luxury to be able to linger and finish up and not feel rushed.

So THANK YOU! and I also appreciated your graceful incorporation of our late arrival– she really enjoyed being able to create a piece and talk about it!” ~A.V.
